The intercom panel allows you to chat with the rest of your team across multiple channels. This allows part of your team to be chatting in one channel, while other groups can talk in other channels at the same time without interrupting the others.
However, you are not limited to speaking in or listening to only one channel at a time. You can monitor any combination of channels while speaking to a different combination of channels if desired.
For example, the director may want to only hear what’s being said in the MAIN channel, while they wish to be heard in all channels. The opposite is possible as well. A producer may want to monitor every channel, while only speaking to one particular channel.
There are four main components to this intercom:
- Listen Buttons (Per Channel)
- Talk Buttons (Per Channel)
- Speak Button
- Whisper Buttons (Per User)
Listen Buttons
For each channel you want to hear, click the LISTEN button for that channel to toggle the LISTEN indicator on. LISTEN buttons will automatically toggle on for a channel you elect to speak in by default, but can be toggled off if desired.
Talk Buttons
For each channel you want to speak in, click the TALK button for that channel to toggle the TALK indicator on. Clicking TALK on any channel will automatically toggle the corresponding LISTEN button on as well. You can toggle the LISTEN button off if you wish to only speak to that channel but not monitor it.

The SPEAK button is GREEN when your microphone is off and you are SAFE.
The SPEAK button is RED when your microphone is on and you can be heard!

Whisper Buttons
You can quickly “whisper” to a user by clicking the WHISPER button next to their name. This is a ONE-WAY communication. The person receiving your whisper will continue to communicate however they were set up beforehand, unless they decide to whisper back to you.
For example, if a director is speaking in the MAIN channel and you want only the director to hear you, you can whisper to them. Only the director will hear you until you stop whispering and click back into your desired channels.
